Growing up at the rurals is an experience many of us can relate to, that rich neighbour who could make it to plough tens of acres for agriculture while we couldn't effectively utilise the little we had! During harvesting season he could sell bags of wheat or corn to big processors while we are worried whether what we harvested could last to our next harvest. This how I grew up at a rural village at the central province in Kenyan sub saharan. My parents only answer to the question How did this man and his family get this rich? was go to school and study hard son ✅ ....I went through the established system! Primary school, high school and eventually to college. After graduating 🎓 and had a paycheck i still saw this thing doesn't add up! The rich guy at our village had freedom but for me now I have to report daily to someone! I have to ask permission even incase of a personal emergency! This was boring. I started reading lots of personal finance books to get out of this trap and understand what had actually happened to me. YOU see the harvest we made was the salary I received every end month, I was worried and struggled with it to the next paycheck. Later on I realised the reason the rich village guy used to sell most of the harvest immediately he harvested !! He was doing the investment to his farm using other people's money and he had to repay it partially if he had a good harvest that year. I quitted paychecks some years ago and started several succeeding business in sectors I like and am passionate about.
